DHA Islamabad:

Defence Housing Authority, Islamabad (DHA Islamabad) is an affluent residential neighborhood is a gated community situated within Islamabad–Rawalpindi metropolitan area of Pakistan. The neighborhood, which straddles the Punjab provincial border, is divided into five sections. This neighborhood was primarily established for military personnel in 1992 by the Armed Forces of Pakistan Welfare Department, however, currently both civilian and military families reside there. Today, DHA, Islamabad is one of the upscale neighborhoods in the twin city.

DHA Islamabad is divided into different Phases and Sectors.
Phases Sectors
Defence Phase I This Phase of Defence is positioned at the best possible location, halfway between Bahria Town and the N-5 Highway Islamabad.
Defence Phase II Halfway between Bahria Town and the N-5 Highway, the Phase of Defence is situated in the ideal area.
Defence Phase III Previously Bahria Serene City, located east of Bahria VIII Islamabad.
Defence Phase IV The Phase of Defence is located in the optimal location, halfway between Bahria Town and the N-5 Highway.
Defence Phase V Located on Expressway Islamabad.
Defence Valley, Islamabad

On hold, located adjacent to Phase II on Expressway Islamabad.

Administration:

Under the Welfare and Rehabilitation Directorate, a serving brigadier of the Pakistani Army is in charge of the defence.

DHA Islamabad Phases:

Phases 1 and 2 have been completely developed, and Phases 3, 4, and 5 as well as DHA Valley are in the planning stages. Residential and commercial plots are available for purchase in all phases, in addition to built homes and retail spaces. To ensure that DHA inhabitants have an outstanding living experience, DHA Management also prioritises the establishment of educational, healthcare, and leisure institutions.

DHA Phase I

DHA Phase II

The DHA Islamabad’s Phase 2 is now the one with the highest commercial activity. It is the location of projects like AL Ghurair Giga Mall and educational institutions like APS and DHA Education System.

DHA Phase III

The DHA Phase III construction project is well underway, and the infrastructure displays tasteful town design. The town plan is distinct from the other DHA Islamabad stages in that it includes a golf course.

The Master plan also includes a theme park and a lake that have already been built. According to DHA Management, 3,800 kanal of Phase III’s earthwork has been finished, while approximately 1,050 kanal of Phase III have been fully constructed.

DHA Phase IV

DHA Phase IV, which spans 4000 Kanals and is situated next to the Orchard Area in DHA Phase I and near the River Soan, also boasts a mountainous setting and provides its residents with picturesque vistas.

The building process is in motion, but the phase needs to be developed further to enable the construction of homes shortly. The project promises upscale amenities with sporting venues and green spaces.

DHA Phase V

DHA is dispersed over 7000 Kanals. Across from Phase II on the Islamabad Motorway is Phase V, which is now undergoing rapid development. The people who live in Phase V can take advantage of its commercial activity because it is close to Phase II.

A short drive would take you to places like APS, DHA Education System, Al Ghurair Giga Mall, Jacaranda Family Club, etc. from Phase V’s Main Gate 1.

Over 150 families have already moved in during this phase of construction and development, which is in full stride.

DHA Phase VI

Previously known as the DHA Phase II extension, phase VI includes DHA Valley, DHA Expressway and Overseas Sectors spread over 55,000 Kanals approximately.

‘OJRM’ of Los Angeles, California, a renowned town planning firm, created the master plan.

Phase 6 development work is moving forward steadily. The map has been made, and delivery is anticipated in due order.

DHA Valley

The proposed DHA Valley residential development is a collaboration between three renowned developers: Bahria Town, DHA Islamabad, and Habib Rafiq Pvt. Limited (HRL). The property, which is close to the Islamabad Motorway, provides upscale residential and business possibilities.

Future Plans of DHA Islamabad:

Phase 4 of DHA Islamabad will soon see the opening of the Overseas Block. The Overseas Block, as its name suggests, will be reserved for Pakistanis living abroad.
